Data controller

Erelen s.r.o. is the controller of the personal data you provide to us, in particular by filling in the inquiry / contact form on the erelen.cz website, the configurator, the hardware buyback form, or by communicating via e-mail, phone, or WhatsApp.

What data we process

When you fill in an inquiry or contact form, we process the following data that you provide yourself:

• first and last name,
• e-mail address,
• phone number (if provided),
• the content of the message / inquiry (description of the requested build, component, service, etc.).

For the hardware buyback form, we also process data about the offered device (type, condition, photos of the device) and, where applicable, a delivery or pickup address. For orders of goods, we also process billing and delivery details (address, and Company ID / VAT ID where applicable) required to issue a tax document and deliver the goods.

When you visit the website, we also automatically process technical data about your device and behavior on the site (see Article 4 — Cookies and analytics).

Purpose and legal basis of processing

By submitting the inquiry form, you consent to the processing of the personal data provided for the purpose of handling your inquiry and any subsequent communication related to your order.

Cookies and analytics tools

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to ensure basic website functionality, measure traffic, and display relevant advertising. Specifically, we use:

• Google Analytics 4 (GA4) — for anonymized analysis of website traffic and user behavior (e.g. which pages you visit, how long you stay on the site),
• Sklik (Seznam.cz) — retargeting and measurement pixel — to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns and to show targeted advertising (retargeting) to users who have already visited our website,
• technical cookies necessary for the website to function (e.g. storing your language preference, form state).

Analytics and marketing cookies (GA4, Sklik) are active only based on your consent given through the cookie banner; you can withdraw or change your consent at any time in the same cookie banner or in your browser settings. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal.

Data retention period

After the above periods expire, we securely delete or anonymize the personal data, unless a specific legal regulation provides otherwise.

Sharing data with third parties

For the purposes described in this Policy, personal data may be shared with the following categories of processors and recipients:

• shipping and delivery providers (DPD, Česká pošta, Zásilkovna),
• payment service providers (Stripe) and financing providers (ESSOX s.r.o.),
• analytics and marketing tool providers (Google — GA4, Seznam.cz — Sklik),
• IT infrastructure and website hosting providers,
• public authorities, where required by law.

Except as stated above, Erelen s.r.o. does not transfer personal data to any other third parties and does not sell it. Some of the processors listed above may process data on servers outside the European Economic Area (e.g. the USA); in such cases, an adequate level of protection is ensured (EU standard contractual clauses).

Your rights

In connection with the processing of your personal data, you have the right to:

• access the personal data we process about you,
• rectify inaccurate or incomplete data,
• erasure ("right to be forgotten"), unless prevented by a legal obligation to retain the data,
• restrict processing,
• data portability in a structured, commonly used format,
• object to processing based on legitimate interest,
• withdraw your consent to processing at any time (in particular regarding cookies and marketing), without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent given before its withdrawal,
• lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, the Office for Personal Data Protection, Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7, Czech Republic.

Data security

We process personal data in a secure environment and protect it against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse using appropriate technical and organizational measures (encrypted data transmission, restricted access to data, secure storage).

Changes to this Policy

Erelen s.r.o. reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy from time to time, in particular in connection with changes in legislation or in the way data is processed. The current version is always available on this page.
