Is upgrading worth it, or should I just buy a new PC?
It depends on the age of your build and what you want to improve. Adding RAM or an SSD is almost always worth it — low cost, instant improvement. Swapping the CPU or motherboard on an older platform (Intel 8–10th gen, AMD AM4) is less worthwhile — a new PC often makes more sense. We'll always give you our honest recommendation.
Do you upgrade older or office computers too?
Yes. Even 7–10 year old builds. If adding an SSD or RAM makes sense, we'll do it. You don't need a gaming PC — we upgrade office machines too.
Can I come in person to Olomouc?
Yes, we prefer in-person handover. We'll arrange a time — we work weekends and holidays too. Just call or message us on WhatsApp.
How long does the upgrade take?
Simple upgrades (RAM, SSD, cleaning) typically take 1–2 hours. More complex work (CPU + motherboard swap, Windows reinstall) is done within one working day. We agree on a time in advance.
How much does a GPU swap, RAM or SSD addition cost?
Adding RAM: assembly from €8 + cost of memory. SSD: from €8 + cost of drive. GPU swap: from €12 + cost of card. Cleaning: from €16. You'll get an exact price within 24 hours after filling in the form.
What if I don't know what's inside my PC?
No problem. The form includes a guide to check your specs in 30 seconds (msinfo32, PowerShell or HWiNFO64). Or just bring the PC in and we'll have a look ourselves.
Do you upgrade laptops too?
Partially — on most laptops you can add RAM and an SSD, or clean it and replace thermal paste. GPU or CPU swaps in laptops are generally not technically possible.
What about old components after the upgrade — will you buy them?
