A new Fortron FSP1200-50AAG power supply rated at 1200 W with 80 PLUS Gold certification. Full ATX format, so it fits a standard case.
1200 W of headroom makes sense where a single unit powers more than one graphics card — rendering and AI workstations with two cards, mining rigs, or workstations with many drives. For an ordinary single-GPU gaming PC it is a supply with plenty of room to grow.
80 PLUS Gold means roughly 90% efficiency at typical load: less heat inside the case and lower draw from the wall for the same power delivered to the computer. The unit is new, unopened, with a 24-month warranty.
