At 1080p the processor costs at most 6 % of FPS against the strongest gaming CPU (demanding games at Ultra 0 %, esports at medium settings 6 %; good choice). GPU & CPU tier list →
By popular demand we continue: the fourth PC in our series of cheap builds made from leftover stock. This one is a generation ahead of the previous three. For the first time it has DDR4 memory, an ASUS board and a Corsair case you would not expect in a PC at this price.
Let's be upfront: this PC too is built from parts left over after custom orders and trade-ins. The Intel Core i5-6500 is from 2015, the Radeon RX 570 4 GB from 2017 and the Corsair SPEC-ALPHA case from 2016. None of the parts is new, but we tested all of them and put them together so they work as a whole. The MSI MAG A550BN power supply is the youngest part and has headroom.
What it is good for: internet, office work, movies, school and 1080p gaming. The Radeon RX 570 is still a usable Full HD card: Counter-Strike 2, Fortnite, League of Legends, Rocket League, Valorant, GTA V or Minecraft without trouble, Cyberpunk 2077 or Hogwarts Legacy on low to medium settings around 40 FPS. The CPU has 4 cores without hyperthreading, so in newer games it sometimes holds the GPU back. The FPS calculator on this page tells you what to expect in each game.
What you should know beforehand: Windows 11 is not officially supported on this CPU due to Microsoft's restrictions, so Windows 10 Pro is included. AMD now ships only maintenance drivers for the RX 500 series; it does not matter for gaming, but do not expect new features. The 240 GB SSD is SATA (the board has no M.2 slot), the 750 GB HDD is for data. The CPU cooler is the stock Intel one; it is enough for a 65 W CPU but audible.
What makes number four different: this build can be upgraded sensibly. The board has an LGA 1151 socket for 6th and 7th gen Intel, so an i7-7700 with 8 threads fits, and four DDR4 slots up to 64 GB. The 550 W Bronze PSU has headroom for an RX 6600, RTX 3060 or RTX 4060 class card, which turns the PC into a proper Full HD machine even for new titles. So when it stops being enough, you do not have to buy a whole new PC.
What makes it a fair buy: the Corsair Carbide SPEC-ALPHA case with a window, two red-lit front fans, an Arctic rear fan and a fan speed switch on the front panel, 16 GB DDR4, clean assembly, stress test of CPU, GPU, memory and drives, Windows 10 Pro installed with drivers and above all a 24-month warranty included, which you will not get on parts this old anywhere else. Sold under the special VAT scheme for second-hand goods (§ 90), VAT not itemised.

We aim to supply exactly the part shown in the photo. In rare cases, for components without a named manufacturer (memory, storage), we may supply the same model from a different manufacturer – with identical specifications, performance and warranty. Colour and style are always kept: a white build gets a white card. Where the manufacturer is named in the configuration, we supply exactly that model.

Service even if you are not from Olomouc
Every build is stress-tested before it leaves us, so warranty claims are rare. If anything happens anyway: call us first and our technician tries to solve it over the phone – that is usually enough. If we need to see the PC, we send you a Zásilkovna code or a DPD label, you hand over the parcel and we take it into our Olomouc workshop with priority and ship it back after the repair. From Olomouc and nearby, just drop by – we fix it while you wait or by the next day.
